Superstitions

 

I am not a very superstitious person, like for some people they think that on Friday the thirteenth something bad is going to happen, well this year my birthday was on Friday the thirteenth and nothing bad happened to me. To be honest I really do not get why some people are superstitious. I have not really encountered anyone that was way superstitious in my life, you know like so scared to death that they couldn’t come to school or anything. But if I did I would listen to them but I wouldn’t let what they were saying get to me.

Assignment 6

The conflict of this is about a girl who is deaf and wants to be like everyone else and play the violin. But she is asked the question, why do you want to be like everyone else?, and she gets up enough courage to compete in a music contest and to everyones surprise she is great. But what was so amazing to me was that in the end it was a pantene commercial!!!! But if you look at her hair you can see why it was.

Assignment Five

To me Albert Einstein qualifies as a renaissance man because of his vast knowledge of physics and science and his theory of gravitation. Einstein also created the theory of relativity, which states that only relative motion can be measured, but Albert Einstein is most famous for his law of mass equation E=mc 2.

Assignment Four

 People have effected wildlife as you can see by the way the lye bird imitates all the sounds that it is exposed to.  What we do called progress in some ways it is bad because it is ruining the lives of  the wildlife creatures, but it helps us because we are in such a demand to get what we need.

Assignment #3

In this activity I only got three correct. To me this assignment was pretty difficult because some of the people look like they would be one race when actually they are another. The stereotypes that I fell victim to were how a person looks. A stereotype that people may think of me is that she is quiet and shy or weird but most of what people say  is misleading  about me unless  you really get to know me.

Asignment #2

 

The mass media has corrupted the minds of boys and girls by showing them what styles are in  or out, or saying that you need to be like some superstar that they show on T.V. and some children today take these things seriously. Its not right to tell a boy/girl how they should look or dress or how to fit in. I think that the media doesn’t need to send out those kinds of messages to the younger/teen generations.
